Eastern Trophies flies are all hand tied with
premium materials and Umpqua hooks. Our patterns are specially
designed for the local waters that we regularly guide and fish.
They also produce very well at other trout locations thoughout
the United States. Our flies can be purchased individually or
as selections from our catalog.

How We Do It
The Madonna is a baitfish streamer that is very effective on both trout
and smallmouth bass. We use it primarily for brown trout. Our fly
sinks quickly with the tungsten cone head. While white is the most effective color, other variations of yellow and black work well under certain conditions.
Slide on a tungsten cone to the hook if desired. Wrap the hook
with gray thread from the middle of the hook to the rear directly above the barb. Wrap in about 10 to 15 strands of silver
crystal flash at the rear of the hook just above the barb.
