Eastern Trophies flies are all hand tied with
premium materials and Umpqua hooks. Our patterns are specially
designed for the local waters that we regularly guide and fish.
They also produce very well at other trout locations thoughout
the United States. Our flies can be purchased individually or
as selections from our catalog.

How We Do It
Originally a saltwater fly, the Persuader is a tremendous producer of larger trout over 20". We have also had a lot of success using this fly for smallmouth bass in the 3-5lb range. It quickly found a place in our fly box. The striped tail and wool head together create a movement unique to this streamer.
Wrap the hook from the middle to the rear of the hook where it is even with the barb of the hook. Form a small bump of thread where you stopped your wraps. In front of this bump, wrap about 6 grizzly saddle hackles onto the hook as shown.
